I would just like to take this opportunity to express my admiration for the work that you did on The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy TV show. The animation that you created was light years ahead of its time and being a young kid growing up watching that show inspired me to start doing freelance animation of my own. To this day the animation and graphics you created for that show still hold up and I am sure that your hard work and dedication has inspired many other people to go into the animation industry. I truly believe the show would not have been as successful or as awesome as it is if it wasn't for the amazing animation you created. Thank you so much.

I just bought The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy Blu-ray and they did an amazing job transferring it to high definition, that is what inspired me to seek out your website. I've read all of the books and of course they are absolutely brilliant, Douglas Adams was a genius, and the TV show does his subject matter justice, and a lot of that credit should go to you. Thank you again.

On The 8th Day?
Hi Rod,

I saw 'On The 8th Day' on BBC Four last week after 'Threads', no credit but guessing your animations.

I would like to buy a few of your prints but the one I'm really after is Arthur surrounded by ray guns "So this is it, we're all going to die".

Have to give 'Mostly Hand-Drawn' a rewatch, looks fantastic in HD

Hi Matt - have just had a brief look on Youtube and I can see why you might think that ... but no, not done by me ! I'm afraid Arthur surrounded by ray guns was not shot on 35 mm slide at the time but could be reconstructed from scanned artwork. I will have a look at what I have and let you know. I'm not familiar with 'Mostly Hand-Drawn' ... what is that ? Thanks for getting in touch.

Hi Rod, 'Mostly Hand Drawn' is a featurette on the Hitchhiker's Blu Ray extras. A compilation of just your fantastic animations re-done in HD with the original sound (why they didn't edit it back into the into the episodes????)
