This piece consists of hand letrasetted text, reversed out in the darkroom to be clear in black photolith,
and sellotaped into layout position on clear animation cel.
This item was used under the rostrum camera for some of the text exposure runs for the Babel Fish sequence.
This would have been masked using black card to allow back light through only where called for by the camera "dope sheet". Obviously the new owner can repair with new tape if they wish but my policy is not to try and repair the ravages of production and age. As usual the old Sellotape is now very brittle and giving up. Consequently the punched 35mm registration strip is only just hanging on and may be completely separated by the time it is despatched. I hope the photos show this adequately.
