Large photolith image (clear line in black) of Arthur Dent and Ford Prefect as they are ejected out of the airlock into space.
The original large drawing for this was auctioned at Hitchcon ... er ... 2009 ?
The original Rotring pen drawing was reproduced in the darkroom at several sizes in order to animate them away into the distance as there was a limit to the distance the rostrum camera could actually travel. This item was one of those stages and in addition to signs of a couple of folds also has some old masking tape stuck to the surface, both of which I have tried to show in a couple of the photos. My policy is not to repair the wear and tear of production and age on the basis that the new owner can decide for themselves how far they want to go. Overall size 54 x 41 cm |
