1 - Rotring pen drawing by Rod Lord on 330 x 280 mm animation cell. 2 layers of cell fixed together with masking tape. Top layer contains facial features and chin. This was to allow the main outlines to remain constant while the mouth and chin moved for a repetitive talk motion and the expression could be changed. These cells were photo contact exposed onto photolith film for clear lines in solid black for camera artwork.
