La Melonie is in the small hamlet of Saint Chamassy - about 5 houses in between the Dordogne and Vezere rivers. It is a typical stone cottage of the area. Very pretty and set back from the road with surrounding land and vine clad terrace in a walnut orchard. The road leading to the house is rarely used by anybody other than the inhabitants of the hamlet and is therefore very quiet and peaceful.

With stunning views of rolling hills towards the Dordogne valley and starlit skies at night it's ideally placed for discovering the Dordogne area, its prehistoric connections, chateaux, and excellent restaurants.
